Tiger Lady Giveaway: Day 8

When I was thinking about what kind of things I wanted to include in this giveaway, I knew that I wanted to include something that had to do with safety. I run alone often and it is usually because I'm so slow, but I also run super early when it is still dark out. I'm always decked out in my reflective vest, headlamp, reflective Shwings, and bright shirts. I know people in my neighborhood think I'm nuts but at least they can see me. All of my reflective gear and lights won't save me from an attacker. You can argue with me about not running by myself or not running in the dark, but the bottom line is you can get attacked anywhere or anytime whether you are running or not.

The Tiger Lady  is little self protection device that has developed and refined over the course of three generations. The Levine Family has is proud to say that their products are made in the USA and assembled by disabled veterans.

Tiger Lady is safety at your fingertips. It is small, light weight, and needs no batteries or charging. To activate the three claws, all you have to do is close your hand and make a fist. The retractable claws protrude between your knuckles ready to meet your attacker.

  1. I would actually give it to one of my friends. I'm mostly an indoor runner and, if outdoors, I tend to run a small loop in my neighborhood and typically have my RoadID and my Damsel in Defense rape whistle and all that. My friend tends to use the trail by her house and I don't know that she has anything other than her phone...

  2. I might need that if I'm ever called on to defend an awesome friend against those damn Canada geese. ;-)

  4. I run in the mornings. I used to have a partner but am often solo now. I'd love the extra protection.
